At Teens Reaching Teens, Inc., we believe that every child deserves access to stories that reflect their world, their dreams, and their potential. As the nonprofit literacy arm of Lil’ Marco and Friends, LLC, our mission is to close the literacy gap by putting diverse books into children’s hands—one story, one smile, one classroom at a time. Through partnerships with local schools, universities, and community organizations, we bring reading experiences and book donations directly to students who need them most. Together, we’re building brighter futures through the power of representation and literacy.
Partnering with SMU to Inspire the Next Generation of Readers
Teens Reaching Teens, Inc., in collaboration with Lil’ Marco and Friends, LLC, proudly joined the SMU Cox School of Business MBA students to donate dozens of children’s books to the students at Frank Guzick Elementary in Dallas, Texas.
This partnership was more than a book drop—it was a celebration of literacy, diversity, and community. Together, we shared stories that reflect the faces and experiences of our children, encouraging every student to dream big and believe in their potential.
Empowering Young Readers with the Dallas Mavericks
Through the Dallas Mavericks Business Assist program, Teens Reaching Teens, Inc. and Lil’ Marco and Friends, LLC partnered to provide free books to the students of Turner Elementary in Dallas, Texas.
Each donated book was hand-delivered with a message of hope, representation, and kindness. The collaboration highlights how local businesses and nonprofits can work together to close the literacy gap and inspire children across North Texas.
