Be Part of the Story
At Teens Reaching Teens, Inc., volunteers are the heart of everything we do. Whether you’re helping at a literacy event, reading to children, packing book bundles, or mentoring students, your time and energy help us change lives—one story at a time.
In partnership with Lil’ Marco and Friends, LLC, we host community book drives, school reading days, and youth empowerment events that bring literacy and creativity to life. By volunteering, you help ensure that every child has access to books that reflect who they are and inspire who they can become.
Volunteer Opportunities
We welcome individuals, families, students, and corporate or community groups to join us in a variety of roles:
- Literacy Events & Book Distributions: Help organize and hand out books at schools, community centers, and literacy fairs.
- Keepin’ It Real! Youth Summit: Assist with event logistics, student registration, and workshop coordination.
- Reading Ambassadors: Read aloud to students or assist during story-time sessions featuring Lil’ Marco and Friends books.
- Creative Mentors: Guide students through writing or art activities that encourage self-expression.
- Administrative & Outreach Support: Help with behind-the-scenes tasks such as donor thank-you notes, event prep, or social-media promotion.
Who Can Volunteer
- Adults age 18 and older
- College students, educators, parents, and community members
- High-school seniors may assist under adult supervision
No special skills are required—just a willingness to serve, a love for literacy, and a heart for youth.
