History

Teens Reaching Teens, Inc. (founded in October 2000 by Sharon Jones-Scaife), is a Texas non-profit corporation located in Garland, Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Teens Reaching Teens was founded by Sharon Jones-Scaife, owner of SJS Graphic Arts & Printing, a full-service graphic design and printing company. SJS Graphic Arts & Printing has provided top quality services to Dallas-area businesses  for over twenty-three years. Through participation in several community events, Mrs. Jones-Scaife saw a need to give local/national teens a voice. Therefore, Teen Graffiti was founded to act as their voice and avenue of communication to express their opinions, concerns, ideas, through poetry, essays, articles and photography. A verbal opinion survey taken through the City of Dallas Youth Services Commission found Teen Graffiti to be an excellent learning and communication tool for teens. Teens Reaching Teens has published Teen Graffiti magazine bi-monthly since February 2000.
